Good times, Good times

We had a wonderful time with our family. We did everything we hoped to do.
We went to the beach in 60°weather. The poor kids were freezing but I think that had a good time anyway.
The museum went as well as it could with 6 children under 10. I would make a great singer if only I could sing.
Once they got used to all our animals I couldn't keep them away. We horse back rode. Every morning they begged to help feed the horses and goat. I wish my own children had that kind of enthusiasm.
More on this wonderful vacation at a later date.

The cousins are coming! The cousins are coming

We are so looking forward to spending the week with all but one of these precious angels. (I can say they are angels because I live 3 hours away.) We have an exciting week planned. If you happen to read this before February 19Th I could use some cheap ideas of what to do around this great area.
I am going to let them help start our crop indoors while they are here. Maybe I can even convince them to clean the horse paddock. Wouldn't that be great. The more farm hands the better I always say.
The only thing I am not looking forward to is cleaning the carpets before they get here. We live
on a dirt farm. Carpets are hard to keep clean. I am going to keep dreaming of a hardwood floor. Of course the daily mopping would also be a chore. :)

02/04

Don't mind the bed head. It's 7:15. We really
like to make your birthday last all day in our house. You get a special birthday chair with streamers and balloons. Presents at every meal.
For her birthday she got a safety board game,a child's bible, play dough toys, coloring book, a pretty box, and a drum.
She also got registered as a homeschooler. Just what every kid wants.

She is riding on a video game roller coaster. You can just see the excitement on her face. Moonbeam and Peace had a blast at Chuck E. Cheese.

Peace's Party

Can you believe she is already six? Seems like just yesterday we were staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Now she can read, count to 100, name all 8 planets and knows that Pluto doesn't count. She can tell you about Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, and Pecos Bill.

She is really looking forward to Chuck E.Cheese. I will post all about that on Thursday.
